The food in Costa Rica is not Mexican. There are a variety of traditional dishes. Many involve rice and beans. There is red bell peppers in everything as well as other peppers, tomatoes, and a variety of tropical fruits and vegetables.

Here is an example of a top notch place to just relax and enjoy the mountain side. Here is a great restaurant, small stocked lake, a little touch of adventure if you want it, and a great view. Enjoy the great climate a little mountain elevation will give you. Only twenty-two kilometers from the San Jose Airport.
