The food in Costa Rica is not Mexican. There are a variety of traditional dishes. Many involve rice and beans. There is red bell peppers in everything as well as other peppers, tomatoes, and a variety of tropical fruits and vegetables.

It shouldn't surprise that lots of things grow in Costa Rica. It's original attration was to farmers. Now you can get all kinds of food and flowers.

Here is a mountain restaurant. A great place to relax and stay cool.
